Job Description
Develop your career as a Full-Time Physiotherapist in our Cardiac, Vascular, and ICU settings, focusing on person-centered care for cardiovascular patients until approximately September 2027.
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our interprofessional team in the Schulich Heart Program. You will assess and treat patients after cardiac surgery and during their recovery in the ICU and ward environments. Collaborate closely with fellow physiotherapists and health professionals to enhance best practices, while engaging in quality improvement initiatives within patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments in cardiac and vascular care
• Recommend follow-up care and rehabilitation resources
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities
• Supervise physiotherapy students and provide education
• Act as an expert resource for staff and students
