Job Description
Take on the challenge of a Full-Time Long Haul Truck Driver in Surrey, BC, offering $36.60 hourly for 40 to 60 hours a week. Benefit from flexible shifts with overtime potential.
This permanent position requires team-oriented driving and meticulous vehicle inspections to ensure cargo safety. The role also involves handling all necessary documentation for transport routes and maintaining effective communication with dispatch. A valid Class 1 or A driver’s license is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and maintain straight or articulated trucks
• Complete thorough inspections before, during, and after trips
• Obtain transport permits and manage related paperwork
• Pay for and receive payments related to transported goods
• Perform tarping and cargo safety procedures
Requirements:
• Class 1 or A Driver’s License mandatory
• Basic security clearance and criminal record check
• Capacity to lift weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)...
