Float Lab Patient Technician
Job Description
Enhance patient experiences as a Lab Patient Technician. Manage specimen collection, patient interactions, and prepare samples for transport in this flexible, part-time position.
This temporary float role requires commitment and compassion in delivering patient care. You will greet patients, perform necessary collections, and maintain records for accurate test results. Flexibility to work various shifts across multiple Patient Service Centers is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and inform patients about the collection process
• Administer phlebotomies and ECG tests
• Conduct special tests like drug screenings and document findings
• Respond to client inquiries and maintain relationships
• Prepare specimens for laboratory transport and analysis
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG desirable
• Must possess strong customer service skills
