Fitness and Active Lifestyle Training Specialist

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking a motivated Fitness and Active Lifestyle Training Specialist to join the Fitness and Active Lifestyle Unit. This specialized position provides professional expertise in the design, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based strength and conditioning programs that support recruit training, member fitness assessments and training and overall employee wellness.

The Training Specialist delivers recruit physical training programs, administers fitness assessments, develops individualized fitness programming, presents on various fitness and lifestyle topics to employees and provides professional recommendations in support of operational readiness, injury prevention, and fitness for duty.
