The City of Iqaluit is looking for an experienced individual to join our growing team and city as a Firefighter / Emergency Medical Responder.

Status: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $43.25 per hour, with an average of 42 hours per week
Settlement Allowance: $20,907.43 annually
Union Status: Unionized
Housing: No Staff Housing Available
This employment opportunity is open to all applicants. The Iqaluit Fire Department is establishing a Firefighter Eligibility Pool. The number of firefighters hired from the Pool may differ as the number of vacancies available is based on attrition due to retirements and staff turnover.
