Job Description
Lead the development of firefighter training in Langley as a Fire Training Officer. Oversee safety-focused training programs for both career and paid-call firefighters while ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
This temporary full-time role reports to the Assistant Fire Chief and is responsible for assessing training needs, creating procedures, and delivering training for recruitment and operations. You will ensure effective programs that support firefighter readiness, health, and safety certifications within the Township of Langley. Strong leadership and communication skills are vital.
