Financial Manager (Chief Financial Officer)

Summary The position is located within Veterans Health Administration in West Palm Beach (WPS) VA Medical Center, FL. This position is the primary financial expert for the WPB VAMC as the Chief, of Fiscal Service who is responsible for establishing and maintaining a complex integrated system of financial staff services, which contribute to effective management control over facility operations. These services include but not limited to accounting, budgeting, collection oversight, workload/cost analysis. Responsibilities As the Chief Financial Manager (CFO) for the WPB VAMC, a complex 1 C facility serving 64,920 Veterans across a 7-county market in Southeast Florida with an annual budget of $417 million in 2012.
