Our direct client is looking for a
Hands‑on Financial Controller
for a new full‑time direct hire in Mississauga, ON, Canada.
Role Overview The position is a start‑up manufacturing role in the life sciences industry or food FDA raw material sector. The role combines cost accounting, controller and accounting management responsibilities.
Compensation
Full‑time direct hire, onsite Monday – Friday
Salary range: $135,000 – $155,000 + (potential additional incentives)
Responsibilities
Own month‑end close, preparing and reviewing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and ensuring a clean trial balance.
Build and lead a manufacturing cost accounting function from the ground up, including standard costing, BOM costing, WIP accounting, and inventory valuation.
Design and implement standard costing and BOM costing structures within the new ERP system, coordinating with operations and procureme...
