College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Work Setting
Financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Advise on trust account investments.
- Identify clients' financial goals and objectives.
- Analyze clients' financial records.
- Develop financial plans for clients.
- Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning.
- Arrange for sale of financial products and investments.
- Administer estate, personal, charitable, corporate and other types of trusts, direct trust account investments, receive and record investment income and disburse trust funds.
Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
- Conduct and Practices Handbook course.
