FINANCE MANAGER – STATUTORY ACCOUNTING & TAX

In this vital role you will be responsible for local statutory accounting, tax compliance, and period-end close activities. This country-dedicated role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Amgen policies, working closely with local stakeholders, Global/HUB Finance teams, external service providers, and leading one direct report.

• Own local statutory accounting and tax deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review tax calculations and approve tax payments prepared by external providers.
• Reconcile tax reports to the General Ledger and monitor recoverable/refund positions.
• Oversee payroll accounting in coordination with HR.
• Support internal control certification (IICC) and local control requirements.
• Prepare and/or review statutory financial statements per local GAAP and Amgen policies.
