Field Services Techician

Position: Field Service Technician. Location: Ottawa, ON. Salary: $68,250 + Benefits + $5K Bonus. Posting Type: Open vacancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test electro‑mechanical fare collection equipment at customer sites.
• Perform first‑line and second‑line maintenance (FLM/SLM) and routine preventative maintenance on all devices.
• Schedule and track maintenance activities, managing defective parts, shipments, and repairs.
• Perform system upgrades, modifications, and full functionality testing with quality checks.
• Install equipment systems including hardware, electrical connections, and sub‑assemblies; set up and configure equipment.
• Conduct site inspections, verify installation quality, and provide commissioning support (pre‑ and post‑installation).
