Job Description
Become a key team member at Quantec Geoscience Ltd. as a Geophysical Technician and take part in exciting fieldwork. This position focuses on outdoor expeditions and technical precision.
Reporting to the Field Manager, you’ll be involved in surveys utilizing advanced geophysical techniques. You must be comfortable with rugged terrains while following strict safety protocols and ensuring accurate data collection for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in geophysical projects with specialized equipment
• Navigate various terrains using GPS and compass tools
• Adhere to strict health and safety protocols
• Perform field repairs on equipment as required
• Uphold quality control measures throughout data collection
Requirements:
• Proven field/outdoor experience required
• Knowledge of GPS and navigation equipment
• Physically capable of hiking with heavy packs
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred
