FIELD OFFICERS FOR FIRE ANT ERADICATION

Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Laidleywith the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland starting on 12/6/2026
This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland.

Great pay rates- $34 + per hour
9 day fortnight 
Uniform, PPE and vehicle during work hours provided 

Key Duties: 
Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects 
Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
Driving Company vehicle 

Mandatory Position Requirements:
Open car licence 
MUST have outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Land Management and Conservation, Civil 
Ability to work in a team environment 
Face to Face customer service experience
