Miller Group is searching for a Field-Based Material Sampler passionate about outdoor construction work. Collect essential asphalt and aggregate samples on dynamic job sites.
In this hands-on role, you will engage in a physically demanding environment, supporting paving operations by collecting vital material samples. You will coordinate closely with construction teams, manage sampling during production, and contribute to ensuring project quality. Adaptability is key, as you will work in various weather conditions and must be prepared for travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect asphalt and aggregates on active job sites
• Shovel hot asphalt during production and placement
• Core asphalt at specified locations using drilling tools
• Package and organize samples for testing purposes
• Conduct field density testing when required
