Job Description
Join the Waasigan Project Team as a Field Automotive Service Technician. Bring your Journeyperson certification and skills to maintain and repair fleet vehicles in a remote setting.
This 12-month term role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles used in the Waasigan Transmission Line project in northwestern Ontario. Successful candidates will work independently, using diagnostic tools like JalTest and Ford IDS, while ensuring all fleet assets are operational. Camp accommodations will be provided, with a 20 days on, 8 days off schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles
• Use diagnostic software to identify issues effectively
• Perform road tests to ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used
• Recommend additional repairs to the Fleet Supervisor
