Feature Animator for Animated Musical

Join the team at Industrial Light & Magic Vancouver as a Senior Feature Animator for the upcoming animated musical 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!'. Help create captivating character performances while working in a hybrid format.
This role involves collaborating with leading directors and animating stylized characters that embody the spirit of Dr. Seuss's story. You will take ownership of key sequences, train emerging animators, and ensure high-quality animations consistent with the artistic vision. The production is set to release theatrically in 2028.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and animate characters and whimsical creatures
• Interpret design direction from animation leads
• Manage complex shots from concept to final product
• Supervise and mentor junior animators as needed
• Attend dailies and provide critical feedback
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in Feature Animation with a relevant degree
