Practice Setting: NICU Level III Reason for Coverage: LOA, loss/decrease time of current staff Shift: Long Term - Full Time Coverage - 7 days on/7 days off 12-hour shifts (days or nights) How Many Neonatologists in Your Group? 3 How Many Pediatricians in Your Group? only pediatricians are our current neonatologists How Many Pediatric Mid-Levels in Your Group? 6 plus 1 per diem Will Other Neonatologists Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates?: no we have 3 full-time neonatologists Will the Locums be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? Yes, RNs in the NICU and other ancillary staff as needed, but no other NNPs Describe Support Staff: Neonatologist present during the day and on call available 24 hours otherwise Number of Exam Rooms: 16 bed unit Average Number of Admissions Per Day: 0-2 average per shift Total Number of Beds: 16 bed NICU unit coverage with coverage for well baby problems o...
