Job Description
Enhance the success of our freeze operations as an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic. Ensure safety and efficiency in equipment operation and maintenance within an industrial environment.
Reporting to the drilling and freezing engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of refrigeration equipment, including HVAC and kitchen systems. Your interactions will support the mentoring of operators and the planning of equipment shutdowns and startups. Utilize your troubleshooting skills to uphold safety and compliance in all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to safe freeze plant operations
• Train and mentor operators effectively
• Install and repair refrigeration systems on site
• Plan and execute equipment shutdowns
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify issues
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid journeyperson refrigeration certification
• 5+ years ammonia refrigeration experience
