Mount Hope - Marian Villa is seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse for night shifts in London, ON. This position emphasizes care for the elderly in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Candidates must hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have at least two years of relevant experience, focusing on elderly care and medication administration. This role offers opportunities to engage in teaching, research, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate care to elderly residents and physically challenged individuals
• Administer medications, catheters, and injections safely
• Foster a safety culture in line with OHSA regulations
• Contribute to ongoing education and research within the facility
• Communicate effectively with both patients and team members
Requirements:
• Valid nursing certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years' recent experience in elder care
• CPR certified
