Job Description
As a Senior Buyer, you’ll be pivotal in managing the purchasing process while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Collaborate closely with teams and suppliers for optimal results.
This Senior Buyer role, reporting to the Director of Operations, is focused on both strategic and operational purchasing. You’ll play a crucial role in negotiating terms with suppliers, managing performance, and developing procurement plans based on departmental analyses. Continuous improvement and compliance with purchasing policies will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate purchasing agreements with suppliers
• Oversee supplier performance and portfolio management
• Monitor and track purchase orders in the ERP system
• Develop procurement plans based on departmental needs
• Ensure regulatory compliance in purchasing processes
Requirements:
• Degree in operations management or a similar field
