Job Description
Step into the role of Equipment Operator and enhance telecommunications projects. Utilize backhoe equipment while dedicated to safety and efficiency across construction sites in the TBD area.
This position entails coordinating with geotechnical engineers for soil testing, operating heavy machinery, and placing necessary telecom structures. Your involvement in daily inspections and safety meetings will be critical to maintain high standards of work. Contribute positively to the team dynamic while assisting where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate backhoe and other equipment
• Collaborate with engineers on soil density assessments
• Install telecom pedestals and cables
• Fill out equipment inspection reports daily
• Engage in safety and work planning meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years backhoe operating experience
• Certification in Ground Disturbance Level 2 required
• Hold a valid Class-5 driver’s license
• Must lift up to 50 lbs ...
