Job Description
Lead MiWay's transit maintenance team during evening hours in Mississauga. As the Evening Manager, you will supervise operations and ensure compliance from 8 PM to 4:30 AM.
In this Assistant Manager role, you will oversee maintenance at Central Parkway and Malton facilities. Your responsibilities include managing unionized staff, ensuring work quality, and promoting safety compliance. You will also engage in performance management processes and work on improvement projects designed to enhance operational efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee overnight operations and management coverage • Supervise unionized maintenance staff for effective service • Manage invoices and quality of subcontractor work • Ensure ongoing training for compliance with regulations • Promote safety and handle emergencies effectively
