Drive effective vehicle maintenance operations for MiWay in Mississauga during evening hours. Lead a team while ensuring compliance and optimal performance in transit services. In this Assistant Manager role, you will oversee maintenance operations from 8pm to 4:30am at both Central Parkway and Malton facilities. You will provide direct supervision of staff, ensuring the quality of work and safety compliance. Your role involves managing improvement projects and engaging in performance management processes to enhance operational efficiency and accountability. Responsibilities
Oversee overnight operations and management coverage Supervise unionized maintenance staff for effective service Manage invoices and quality of subcontractor work Ensure ongoing training for technical and legislative compliance Promote safety and address emergencies effectively Qualifications
