Estimator I (Municipal Infrastructure)

Overview

Estimator 1 at Chandos — entry‑level role supporting the estimating team with full‑cost estimates for materials and labor for municipal projects (wastewater, bridges). This role requires analytical precision, a proactive mindset, and strong teamwork to support project profitability and success.

Responsibilities

• Project Analysis & Takeoffs: Review proposal specifications and drawings to accurately determine the scope of work. Perform detailed, complete takeoffs to ensure every project component is accounted for.
• Cost Estimation: Assist and coordinate the preparation of full‑cost estimates on conceptual, design‑build, and general tender work. As you grow, you will also take the lead in preparing cost estimates for various smaller projects.
