What is the Opportunity?

Aecon Utilities is committed to delivering projects. Aecon is seeking an Estimator to support pre‑construction and estimating activities for infrastructure and construction projects based in Hamilton, Ontario. The role is open to candidates at the Junior through Intermediate level (1–7 years of experience) and will focus on plan interpretation, quantity take‑offs, productivity‑based estimating, and estimate development using InEight (Hard Dollar). The scope of responsibility and level of independence will align with the successful candidate’s experience.

• Read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs and volume calculations from first principles.
