Job Description
This is a skilled Equipment Relocator commercial driver role embedded within our Fleet Maintenance division for individuals who want a dynamic position utilizing both precision driving and mechanical intuition. You are responsible for the safe, timely transport of tractors and trailers between our yard and third-party repair shops.
The Job:
+ Unit Transport & Shuttle: Safely drive tractors, trailers, and combinations between the home yard and multiple repair shops. Follow dispatched routing across shops and adjust on the fly depending on shop timelines or unit availability changes.
+ Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough commercial pre-trip and post-trip inspections on every unit. Document defects accurately, flag out-of-service conditions, confirm units are road-legal, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
