Job Description
Make a difference in the environmental sector as an Environmental Specialist at our mine site in Geraldton, Ontario. This role focuses on managing environmental data systems, regulatory compliance, and high-quality analysis.
Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, you will oversee all environmental data systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity in a fast-paced mining environment. This position requires a solid understanding of environmental management principles and experience with database systems. Engage in a two-week on, two-week off rotation while positively impacting environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer EQuIS data management for environmental monitoring
• Implement alert systems for compliance exceedances
• Manage full data lifecycle for water, air, and effluent
• Lead internal and external reporting activities
