Make a difference as a Junior Pathfinder with Green Action Centre, focusing on waste management in Manitoba’s First Nations communities. Collaborate with locals to promote sustainability and effective waste reduction techniques.
As a Junior Pathfinder, you will report to Lead Pathfinders while supporting First Nations communities in their waste management goals. This position is ideal for individuals identifying as First Nations or Métis. Your involvement will include engaging with community members, assisting in the identification and diversion of waste materials, and facilitating workshops to promote education and awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel extensively to First Nation communities
• Foster relationships with local landfill and transfer station staff
