2026 FALL ENGINEERING INTERN
The Town of Wasaga Beach is now accepting resumes for position of Engineering Intern (September to December 2026). The Town will be accepting resumes from students that are available for a four (4) month co‑op work term.
The Engineering Intern will be responsible for: assisting the Engineering Division to evaluate programs and initiatives, assist with issuing permits and construction inspections, and policy development; interacting with other department staff, consultants, outside agencies and the public regarding engineering related issues; conducting topographic surveys of existing Public Works facilities and assist with developing designs for roadway, drainage and environmental improvements; supporting engineering staff with safety reviews of transportation facilities; collecting traffic data and preparing summary reports; monitoring advancement in technology/industry best practices; and performing field visits to review project p...
