Engineer I, Senior

ABS Government Engineering Services (GES) is searching for a Senior Engineer I to assist with ship structure, stability, and load line reviews. This person will perform engineering design review and analysis assignments, normally involving a major project or several smaller, less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty, require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of engineering or science. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the ideal candidate will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures.

The individual will support Canadian and U.S. government agencies (Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Department of National Defence (DND), and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)) by performing various classification and certification services for surface vessels.
