Williams Lake is seeking a Family Physician for their busy emergency department. You'll handle around 22,000 visits annually while collaborating with specialists in various areas including surgery and pediatrics. This role also allows for mentorship opportunities as part of UBC's rural teaching program, along with chances for leadership development through Interior Health's NAVIG8 Program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage emergency department patient cases and visits
• Collaborate with specialists in various medical fields
• Mentor medical students and residents in the emergency setting
• Participate in leadership development programs
• Contribute to the CMH redevelopment project
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Medicine required
