Summary This position is located in the Facilities Management Service (FMS) at the VA Western Colorado Health Care System (WCHCS), which provides comprehensive health care services to Veterans across Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. The primary purpose of the position is to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in the upkeep of buildings, grounds, exterior structures, utilities, and related fixtures. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities include: Uses appropriate test equipment to prevent overloading. Utilizes all instruments correctly and equipment normally used by journeyman electricians. Ability to select and use appropriate hand, and power tools. Maintain, repair, and install electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, test and check for proper voltage capacity, loading of wires and equipment, and balancing of loads.
