Educational Assistant - Hearing Loss

Saskatoon Public Schools requires Educational Assistants Hearing Loss to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in accessing educational programming, communication, and meaningful participation in school life. Positions are available on a full‑time, part‑time, and casual basis.

• Educational Assistants work under the direction of classroom teachers and specialized staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary school teams.
• They support students in achieving goals identified in Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) while promoting independence, engagement, and safety.
• A core responsibility of this role is providing consistent communication access, including supporting classroom instruction, peer interactions, and school activities using American Sign Language (ASL), Signed English, visual supports, and assistive listening technology, as appropriate.
