Education Partnership Program Liaison

The Education Partnership Liaison Worker (EPP) is responsible for creating, promoting, supporting, and implementing partnerships with provincial school boards to strengthen educational opportunities for off‑reserve secondary students. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Education Department, the Liaison carries out activities under the Education Partnerships Program (EPP) Joint Implementation Plan to enhance the scope and quality of education programs and services available to Shibogama First Nations students attending provincially funded schools. This position plays a critical role in advancing EPP educational initiatives and maintaining effective relationships with First Nations and provincial district school boards (DSBs). In addition, the EPP Liaison will implement a mentorship program to support students transitioning into high school, ensuring they receive guidance and encouragement to succeed.
