Lead economic growth as the Business and Economic Development Manager with M’Chigeeng First Nation. Drive initiatives, partnerships, and strategic planning for long-term community success.
In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all economic development efforts of the M’Chigeeng First Nation. This includes implementing plans, creating partnerships, and managing business entities to foster growth, supporting both the community and individual entrepreneurs. You will report directly to the Enaagdenjged and interact regularly with community leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive economic development plans for M’Chigeeng
• Lead program initiatives and assist in proposal development
• Report monthly to boards and stakeholders
• Oversee daily operations of economic development entities
• Manage budgets and ensure financial accountability
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
