Driver Class 1

JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLE, RESPONSIBILITY, REQUIRED SKILLS)

Safex Transport is looking for Class 1 truck drivers to travel in teams to the west coast of the United States.

Truckers with Safex Transport drive brand new trucks. All our trucks are assigned. Couples are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various kinds of merchandise
• Make sure the vehicle is well maintained during trips
• Deliver the merchandise and inform the head office of any irregularity

Requirements

• Class 1 driver’s license (heavy vehicles)
• Experience with travelling long distances
• Excellent driving record
• Safe driving habits and respect for the rules of the road
• Able to communicate in French or English
• Organizational skills and team spirit
