Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to shape conservation and land management outcomes in the ACT, across issues such as threatened species, restoration, cultural heritage, visitor experience and fire. The Director of the Parks and Conservation Service (PCS) Parks Planning and Policy Section is responsible for overseeing the preparation of statutory Reserve Management Plans (RMPs) for the ACTs conservation reserves, driving the uptake of a new Values-Based Management approach; reviewing the adequacy and effectiveness of existing reserve management plans; and reporting on implementation and outcomes to the Minister for Government and City Services.
