Join the K-12 public education system as the Director of Labour Relations. Lead strategic initiatives to enhance labour relations through expert guidance and experience.
As a leader reporting to the Executive Director of Employee Services, your role will involve managing collective agreements, grievances, and discipline issues in a multi-union environment. You will also develop essential training for district leaders and represent the district on local labour relations concerns. Your expertise in labour relations will significantly influence the workplace culture in the district.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership on collective bargaining and compliance
• Develop training for district leadership in labour practices
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders on labour issues
• Serve as an advisor to external labour organizations
• Manage arbitration and mediation processes effectively
Requirements:
• 7–10 years’ experience in labour relations leadership
