Job Description
This position requires in‑person collaboration up to five days a week. This arrangement is subject to change based on business requirements.
The Director, Engineering and Technical Services provides strategic leadership, governance of engineering and technical services functions across the WestJet Group fleet, ensuring fleet airworthiness, engineering governance, regulatory compliance, and reliability performance. The role supports operational excellence, protects the Air Operator Certificate (AOC), and collaborates closely with the VP Fleet function.

Engineering Governance & Technical Authority
- Provide enterprise‑wide oversight of engineering standards, technical approvals, and delegated authority.
