Dietitian

As part of the Community Nutrition Program the Dietitian will be responsible for educating the public and members of the health care team on current evidence based nutrition information, preparing and delivering group nutrition classes, providing current evidence based nutrition counseling, collaborating within the health care team, responding to community needs as appropriate, developing and revising public health resources, fulfilling professional responsibilities and performing other related duties as required.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing nutrition screening, assessment, and counselling for clients including women in high risk pregnancies, infants and children with dietary concerns;
• Conducting home visits as appropriate;
• Educating the public and other members of the health care team on current, evidence-based nutrition information;
