Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services.
• Perform clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and providing counseling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on individual expectations while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behavior.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
