**Data Engineer**
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team at GC. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Data Engineer at GC, will work with Data Strategy data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders from other Guy Carpenter teams to provide business value and increase the efficiency of our internal colleagues.
**We will count on you to**:
- Stay current on analytics technology and proactively identify new options for creating business value.
**What you need to have**:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical and quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, or similar
- 2+ years of experience with data modeling (preferably with dbt)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT and REST API principles and schema design across source systems, data lakes, and dashboards
