The CT Technologist performs a broad range of advanced technical and patient care procedures requiring independent judgment while operating a multi slice CT scanner. This role combines technical expertise with exceptional patient interaction to deliver high quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently performs CT procedures using a multi slice CT scanner, applying sound clinical judgment to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety
- Operates power injectors and patient monitoring equipment in accordance with established protocols
- Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast as directed by the onsite physician
