Role Overview

The Crisis Clinician reports to the Patient Care Manager of the Emergency Department and provides mental health assessment, crisis de‑escalation, risk assessment, and safety planning for individuals presenting in the Emergency Department and in the community. The role collaborates with the Manager of Mental Health, primary health care providers, Schedule1 hospitals, and other agencies within the Ontario Health East Region.

Primary Responsibilities
