Take a pivotal role with Associated Youth Services of Peel as a Counsellor for the Family Connections Program. This full-time position requires a hybrid work model with client-focused services and treatment planning.
Join AYSP as a Counsellor, providing support to children, youth, and families facing mental health challenges. This role demands a strong foundation in therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Family Therapy, for effective client work. Experience with group facilitation is key, especially within the Triple P Program.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide in-person and virtual counselling services • Develop treatment plans collaboratively with clients • Lead and facilitate parent groups for Triple P • Maintain professional documentation and assessments • Establish alliances with partner agencies
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field • 2+ years experience with youth and families • Registration with OCSWSSW ...
