Job Description
Enhance energy recovery efforts as a Senior Operations Technician at Cornwall Energy Recovery Centre. Responsible for maintaining EfW plant operations, you'll work in a structured shift environment.
This role mandates a blend of technical knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure reliable energy generation from waste. You will manage plant performance, respond to operational issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Leading shift operations includes responsibilities of monitoring and optimizing processes while supporting a culture of safety and improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control and optimize operations of EfW facilities
• Document and address troubleshooting issues
• Operate cranes and ensure environmental compliance
• Act as Shift Manager deputy when required
• Engage in safety culture and improvement initiatives
