Support youth by becoming a Contract Respite Worker at Strides Toronto. This role focuses on providing tailored respite care and developing life skills in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Strides Toronto is looking for a compassionate Respite Worker who will assist children and youth under the Ontario Autism Program. Your work will involve direct supervision and engagement to support clients’ mental health, while collaborating with families for effective care strategies. Evening and weekend availability is necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure child/youth safety across all respite activities
• Foster mental wellbeing and social skills development
• Complete necessary professional documentation
