What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will join the PBBSIT - Simplii & Investing Technology Application Operations - Direct Investing and Advice (DI&A) team within CIBC’s Infrastructure Operations Department. You will play a critical part in supporting the operations of all DI&A applications, including Enterprise Tier 1 systems. Your responsibilities will include providing advanced investigation and second-level support for client and technical issues, system or website outages, and inquiries from both internal and external application teams. You will prioritize and coordinate with the appropriate CIBC technology groups and external vendors to ensure timely resolution. Additionally, you will be accountable for maintaining the stability and performance of production applications, overseeing day-to-day operational activities, managing escalations, and adapting established procedures to address unique situations.
