Directs and supervises a multidiscipline group of BC Hydro Construction officers, support staff and/or external consultants in the fields of construction management, contract management and commissioning. Ensures that all aspects of construction work and associated activities related to assigned projects are planned in accordance with BC Hydro's PPM Practices and are carried out effectively in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost and scope. Provides leadership and ensures compliance with safety requirements. Works with the Construction Manager 2 to ensure adequate resources are in place to meet multi‑year project and program plans.
