Construction Labourer

Seeking applicants for open Labourer positions with a Heavy Civil Construction company based in Whitehorse.

Qualifications and Experience

• Class 5 drivers license
• Experience working in construction
• Able to work 10-12 hours per day, 7 days a week
• Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and use basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms.
• Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, compaction equipment and power tools is an asset

Duties and Tasks

• Provide support for various civil construction projects including underground water/sewer/power installation, large site grading projects, and surface works including concrete, asphalt and landscaping.
• Operation of skid steer loaders and compaction equipment.
• Driving pickup trucks with trailers, loading and unloading material and equipment.
